Had a brilliant meal here. We were struggling to get a last minute booking on a Sunday night for a party of 8. Contented Sole to the rescue. Perfect service . Wonderful atmosphere. All the food was 8 amazing . Three different starters. Five different mains . Every plate emptied . I can highly recommend this place.

Love this pub. Right on the harbour. Fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff and good, plentiful pub grub, all at very reasonable price. Oh did I mention very consistent, never had a bad meal. The icing on the cake for us - it's totally dog friendly downstairs which means we can have a filling, tasty dinner with our dogs asleep at our feet. Love it - thank you Contented Sole.

Cosy and friendly atmosphere. Sunday roast was inedible (cold, tough meat, chewy (seemingly microwaved) frozen Yorkshires) and I only managed 4 or 5 bites. Staff apologised, took it away, offered a drink instead and then still charged almost £12! You shouldn't judge a book by its cover, or a pub's food by its welcome.

We have just had the most fantastic meal. The staff were very polite and attentive and they made us feel very welcome. The meal was extremely good value. We would definitely go back.

A great traditional Inn right on the harbour just a few yards from the fishing boats. Good choice of ales including a hand pulled cask ale and very good pub food. Always a good ambience and excellent service even when very busy. What more could you want?
