The Ship Restaurant & Bar

Popped in late on Sunday afternoon, we had a hankering for Fish and Chips. We both agreed this was the best Fish and Chips we'd had in along time. The restaurant was spotless and the wee wait for the food to arrive reassuring, this meal was superfresh.They allow dogs in the bar area another plus for us. Definitely returning the next time we are in town.

Absolutely stunning food, amazing from start to finish. We ate here 3 nights consecutively it’s that good. Lovely staff, very attentive and charming. The atmosphere in the restaurant and bar was perfect, great music and wonderful drinks selection which gave a modern edge to this beautiful heritage building, with amazing views. Great place for the family. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner/ head chef who is incredibly talented, passionate and inspirational; you can’t go wrong when such individual is steering the ship!! We will definitely be visiting again and again! Thank you.

Nice venue with outside seating but only one waitress on to cover bar and restaurant made service slow.

Such gorgeous food here. We had a delicious Sunday lunch. The service was a bit on the slow side but as we were on holiday, and in no rush, it didn't matter.

Really nice place, lovely setting and good quality food. Service was a tad slow but friendly staff.
