Jesters is the nearest place to my home that I've reviewed so maybe I'm biased but the wife, daughter and I love this little diner. If you know their sister diner in Great Yarmouth, don't think it's the same as the Lowestoft one. The food here is varied. They mainly do quality breakfasts, including pancakes, waffles, and the more popular full English but they also do fish and burgers. We mainly go during the day and my daughter will enjoy an ice cream while I have one of their great breakfasts. They are dog friendly and they sell dog treat style ice cream and have bowls of water outside. The diner has just been given a make over. It looks great but the main important change is the glass roof has finally gone. This should make a massive difference to the heat come summer. Great improvement Last point. They're on "just eat" and deliver fast

One and a half hours for food and I have a child to feed its 9:35 it's ridiculous and still have to wait even longer

Absolutely awesome place. My wife & I love it & get food delivered from them regularly. Great menu including probably the best burgers I've ever had. I highly recommend Jester's.

The 'Diner' has nothing really that lends itself to be called a Diner. The restaurant looks like an old person with a cheap facelift. The wait for the food was longer than I'd expect for what was ordered and the main items ordered were inedible. Value microwaved chicken and rubbery stuffing in the baguette and the mushroom "stroganoff" had not been cooked out properly, a powdery sauce with an unsettlingly harsh balsamic dressing. Thankfully the side order of chips that was ordered were nice. The toilet facilities were on form, that being tired and grubby with a broken lock. When the staff were told of the issues with the food, which was discretely and politely done, it was met with a very saccharin 'Sorry, oh sorry, erm sorry" with no offer of any reimbursement. So to conclude, a tasteless experience that will not be repeated, unlike the food I have no doubt if consumed would have repeated.
