Great food and so accommodating! Great carvery if your Vegan/Veggie or Gluten Free!! 

As a vegan I usually avoid a carvery or turn up expecting to have a bowl of chips and maybe some soup. However, I was really impressed the Commordore. There was a great vegetarian option that was easily made vegan and it was homemade, generous and delicious! All the vegetables were made without butter and flour (if your gluten free!) and the gentlemen was passionate about ensuring that he catered for dietary requirements. It was so nice not to feel like an inconvenience. 

I left impressed full of dinner and desert and would go back for sure! 

Thanks to the management and staff who clearly embrace a dietary requirement. :)

Have stayed here many times, quiet in a beautiful setting. The hotel may need a little updating however the staff and setting make up for this. However this time there was a party on. Dogs barking in the next door room people hammering on doors up to 3 am and then the dog owner whistling calling and clapping and talking loudly from 3 - 4am in very close proximity to our room. All this with a 6 -7 hr journey ahead of me. Up to yet have heard nothing from the management despite complaining at reception and emailing them

Had a lovely one night stay in dog friendly accommodation. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was great, plenty to choose from Will definitely come again

Nice dog friendly hotel in lovely position facing beach. Dog friendly accommodation in annex ideal as has own separate entrance so ideal with a dog. Had ground floor room which was good size clean and warm. Would return

Only popped in for a drink on the way back from walking the dog so can't review the food. Staff were friendly. I thought the place was very dated personally and could do with a serious makeover. Dogs are allowed in which may be a bonus to some but not to others
