Lovely setting and always will be. However visited restaurant which I had not been to for a while and it was poor. We both had different steaks and both were poor. I sent mine back and to be fair the waiter accommodated but its not the point. I did not go for a refund I wanted a nice steak/meal and should expect that with Marco branding. Not cheap too - all steaks are £30 plus all the side dishes. Again happy to pay but expect top quality. Suggest they need to change their butcher. Wont bother again until I can be confident something has changed

Amazing hotel in the middle of the woods. It's like a serene escape from business. I love that we get facility of the pool nearby. The place is a little bit far from town center, so you might need a vehicle to get here & there. We slept at 3-person room. It's quite spacious and not cramped. Overall, it's a lovely escape and stay at the DoubleTree

It's a very well established, high quality hotel with excellent service and a beautiful setting. It loses a star because there's a no kids allowed rule in the health club on Saturday mornings - we literally chose the hotel for the swimming pool so we were very disappointed and there was no mention of the rule anywhere until we got right down there ready for a swim.

Good clean hotel, breakfast great. Staff really lovely. Room a tad dated... Thought we were in a porn film, glass walls to showerooom to bedroom, mirror walls in bedroom, and a Christine Keeler chair lol.. But hey ...all done in the best possible taste.... Building is very nice and parking no issue at all. All in all a good stay, marked it down by a star just because room dated now and a bit tired.

Omg love this hotel although we have stayed before. I had never used the hot tub outside.amazing loved it. Hotel cannot be faulted staff great very clean nothing too much trouble. The swimming pool fabulous. Food very good
