Nice pub, great atmosphere. One side hosts a pool table and darts board, and has local teams play here. Plenty of space out the back and front to sit and have a cigarette if you're a smoker. Ample parking, car park was clean during my visit. The Sunday roasts here are by far one of the best roast dinners I've had that I haven't cooked myself and at a great price. Plenty of room to sit and dine, and a family friendly atmosphere. I believe they also do functions in the restaurant side, which is a great size for a function, and plenty of room for seating and dancing if you were to have a party there.
We used the function room for my sons' dads wake, they provided the food which was lovely and very reasonably priced.We were made to feel very welcome by Barry and Donna , nothing was too much trouble. The bar staff were friendly and hands on. A big thank you to everyone , the family appreciate all your help on such a sad occasion.
This couple that run the elm tree r so nice, the pub is dog friendly they only bought the pub in December so go along and support them there lovely

I had two parties here for my family and both were enjoyable and good nights food was good and we were made to feel welcome
hired for a party, food was poor quality, sausage rolls burnt, had to clean venue after, toilets broken, no extra staff for bar so had to wait for drinks, worst venue ever.....
