Situated on the top of West Cliff, The Cliff Top Restaurant offers a wide choice of beautifully cooked dishes, close to the BIC Bournemouth

Story

The Cliff Top is a warm, cosy family run restaurant. Owners Sue & Mick wanted to bring a different kind of cuisine to the south coast boasting classical English dishes with a French twist.

All of our produce is locally sourced wherever possible and we have both an a la carte menu & a daily specials board available. In the summer months, owner Mick ventures out on a locals fishing boat catching a variety of fish for our menu.

In the warmer months we open the patio area to alfresco dining, with outdoor heating & blankets In case it gets a bit chilly!

The owner Mick and his staff are absolutely wonderful. They had great vegetarian options for me, lovely pork for my meat eating other half and they even did us a random meal of mash and veg for our 13 month old when we asked if they could. Best of all they made me a special dessert as I'm pregnant and have a craving lol. The food is out of this world amazing, the atmosphere is great and the customer service is excellent. If you're in Bournemouth you must eat here, you're a fool if you don't stop in! We came last time we took a trip to Bournemouth hence coming back again and have decided every time we come to Bournemouth, like Arnie, we'll be back!!

Lovely food and nice staff. A couple of friends with our families got together for meal yesterday. We had a great time. Perfect for family. Scenic views.

Has to be five stars. The food the people the decor wonderful. Was with a big party & were treated as individuals. The owner is a genius

A warm welcome met us the door from the friendliest staff. Our waiter took our coats and escorted us to a table beside the heater as it was a chilly evening. 
The menu is varied and intersting without being pretentious. I chose the onglet steak which I haven't tried before and our waiter recommended the best way to have it cooked. Everything was absolutely perfect. The steak was cooked exactly right, the onion rings had the lightest most delicious batter and even the pepper sauce was fantastic. 
The staff were attentive throughout but not overly so - just the right level of attentive. 
Comfortable surroundings, the decor simple but cosy. Perfect for couples, families, a group of friends, or just to come by yourself as a few  customers did while we were here. I will definitely return if I have the opportunity.
