Was looking forward a nice cream tea but received a warmed up in the microwave, undercooked fruit scone with 1 piece of fruit in it. Staff were lovely though. Have bought a couple of pasties for dinner so don't know how they taste yet. We didn't stay to go around the gardens. A nice selection of plants to buy but homegrown ones didn't have labels on them. Decent prices.

Nice little location - bit off the beaten track and surprisingly large. Got some really nice stuff for kids to do and is generally a pleasant way to pass time. Good cafe with decent selection of food and exceptionally lovely staff who go the extra mile. Miles better than Eden project - save lots of money and have a nicer time by going here.

Pinetum Gardens is a little gem nestled just off a main road. Once you are there it is a haven of beautiful gardens and trees. Ducks and geese wander around and swim on the beautiful lake or on one of the other smaller ponds. The Winter garden is an enclosed area in the tranquil park. The Cafe has delicious cakes and a good menu including breakfasts, soups, jacket potatoes panini etc. There are toilets and the site with a newly extended car park is mostly accessible on various terrain. Dogs are welcome - on leads. Well worth a visit - you will definitely go back!

Great little hidden gem of a garden! Beautiful magnolia trees and camelias. Lakeside walk and a little Japanese style garden there too. Dog friendly, and a fab little cafe. Can highly recommend.

Nice place, cafe is nice and can be visited without paying entrance to the gardens. The staff are friendly, peaceful and fun to explore but not a huge amount to do and fairly expensive. Look for a money off voucher in one of the Cornwall visitors guides
