Welcome to Carlyon Bay Camping Park. The campsite is situated in the heart of Cornwall on the south coast between the beautiful estuary town of Fowey and the charming and historic port of Charlestown. The 30 acres of meadow and mature woodlands with borders ablaze with blue hydrangeas and wild rhododendron create the prefect setting for your much needed holiday.
Our large, level pitches are suitable for even the largest of caravans, tents or motorhomes, coupled with first class on site facilities for the whole family including heated outdoor swimming pools, play areas, luxury toilet and shower amenities, crazy golf, all of which are free to use. To preserve the peaceful and family oriented ambience of the Park we do not have a clubhouse or bar on the site, but for a relaxing evening drink the Britannia Inn is just a ten minute walk.

Absolutely wonderful camping site! We will definitely be going back next year as it had all the facilities we wanted and everywhere was exceptionally clean. The owners were so friendly and really gave the personal touch knowing my name etc as we arrived. Unfortunately my daughter disturbed a wasp nest in one of the banks during the stay and they were straight out to help and sort out the nest, I literally could not of asked for anything more from them. Fantastic stay!! 5*
Stayed here last summer when I was walking the SWCP. I arrived very late around 8pm, and the kind owner opened up the shop for me to buy some food. He was so kind and I was grateful for their generosity as I had just had a very exhausting day! The facilities are great with unlimited showers some campsites you have to pay but here it is free and their shop has pretty much anything you need for the trail. Thanks again for helping me out so late and giving me a great rate as a Walker. I've recommended you to other people :
We love this campsite and have been here on a number of occasions. Fantastic facilities. Lovely outdoor swimming pools. Amazing play areas for the kids. All run by lovely people for that proper family feel.
Bit late with this one! Stayed at carlyon back at the end of August with 2 other families. We had 3 pitches right next to each other which was perfect. Just across the way from the shower and toilet blocks which were absolutely spotless with showers at just the right temperature. Hardstanding Pitches were level and well spaced out, with electricity points right next to them and fresh water and drainage a short distance away, as soon as someone left the pitches were mowed and tidied. The pool and recreation area was well kept and the pool warm enough for the kids. The reception and shop staff were lovely and the shop well stocked. There is a great play area for the kids. The site was lovely and quiet at night, we probably made the most noise drinking and chatting with friends, sorry:- the site was a short walk from the market area that had a range etc and a local pub for food and drinks. The site was also a short walk to the beach across the golf course, the beach has food and drink outlets aplenty and jetskis and paddle board hire. You can also walk along the coast path to Charlestown, and it's only a short drive to a large Tesco's to stock up. All in all a great site, clean and safe and I wouldn't hesitate to go back again in future. Best camping touring park nice friendly staff Clean swimming pools and toilets I’ve stayed here before 10/10 for me and my son . Well kept pitches most with edge rows with free WiFi around touring park . Big pitches not far from beach .
A very nice place to stay, we we're there in september '22 with our campervan. Great hospitality, very clean toilets and showers . Busstop at the entrance of the park, nice little walk a cross the golfcours and you are on the beach. Playground: Lots to enjoy.. Restrooms: Very clean Dog-friendliness: Very suitable for dogs
I would give this site 6 stars if that was possible. I have stayed here many times over the last 16 years last time 2022 and before leaving booked again for 2023. it is one of the best sites i have ever stayed at the facilities are very good and the staff very helpful, Jeff and Fran are two of the nicest people you could meet and nothing is too much for them
Amazing campsite one of the best I've been to! ideal for family's that want to explore the area and keep them entertained. The site itself is immaculate and the facility's are top notch, could not fault it 5*****
We stayed here last august with another family and I have to say it is the best campsite we as experienced campers have ever found …… the facilities are super clean and tidy the grounds are the most beautiful well kept and the pools are superbly maintained and the staff couldn’t do more to help you have a problem free stay. Short walk to a gorgeous beach one way and short drive to supermarket the other way. We loved it so much that we booked b4 we left for this year and we arrive in 5 days, everyone is super excited A visit to Charlestown is a must to watch to sunset over a glass of scrumpy x x can’t wait x x
Outstanding site, clean, large pitches , customer service amazing nothing too much trouble, shop, pools , pool table table tennis, table football, park , 20 minutes walk from fabulous beech with food places and a little shop and water sports on beech , on a bus route, absolutely fabulous
