We dined at the Cinnamon Club this afternoon and opted for the 3 course Jazz Lunch Menu. From the minute we stepped in every staff member was attentive, and the service was high quality start to finish. The portion sizes were good and the £45 per head menu had plenty of options and each packed a punch with their flavours. Special thanks for our server Akaba who explained each of the dishes with good knowledge, and took the time to talk about the history of the restaurant. Deffo be back again. To add to that the ambience and style of the venue has its own special weighting.
Absolutely divine. We had the full signature tasting menu but not the wine pairing. Best meal I've had since N/Naka in Los Angeles. We were all thoroughly impressed with the food. The service can be a little spotty but, honestly who cares.Food: 5/5
Yes, it is an Indian food restaurant. No, it is not the typical one. It is a fusion restaurant with great level of surprises. All I can say, it was fantastic! The Tanduri chicken was probably the best I've ever had. The location is in an old library. You won't regret it!
Cinnamon Club is a renowned Indian restaurant based in Westminster. It is set in the former Grade II listed Westminster library and so the interiors are absolutely gorgeous and regal but without being stuffy. The place was also buzzing. We opted for the Iftar set menu and the food was largely really good especially the starters. The service was amazing too! Overall, a very good option if you would like to treat yourself to some great Indian food in a grand setting.
This was my mom's first dive into Indian food and it did not disappoint. Everything was amazing. The restaurant itself is immaculate. I started with the lively mocktail a nice spiced chai drink. The koorgi pork belly was so tender it melted in my mouth and was bursting with flavor. The flexi saag base with chicken thighs was fantastic. Some of the juciest chicken I've had. If you're in London you have to try this spot.
10/10 would eat again. If you’re not spice tolerant may be a bit tough but would still encourage trying. The service was exceptional. Akaba helped us and was stellar. They were even able to get a last minute table for 2.Food: 5/5
The food was very innovative and tasty. Service was excellent. I brought my father who said the food was better than you can get in India itself.Food: 5/5
Everything about this restaurant is worth a visit: the place, the food, the service. We went there to celebrate a birthday and they added a nice attention with an extra dessert with candles. We had a great time and were surprised the service charge wasn’t included. We were a bit confused and not reactive enough so failed to ask to add it, but we really should have as everything was perfect!
We visited Cinnamon Club for Saturday Jazz Brunch and absolutely loved it. The food, ambience, music, and service - everything was perfect. We absolutely loved the Awadhi Gallouti Kebabs, Jackfruit Kebab, Tandoori chicken breast and Madras Coffee Parfait. They also got us a complimentary lentil dumpling with mango sauce, which was amazing. We will definitely be visiting again to try some special menus. Vegetarian options: There are a couple of options in every menu, and they also have a separate vegan brunch menu.
On the one hand this was a great experience in a beautiful setting but, my word, some of the dishes were eye wateringly expensive. First up was an amuse bouche which was pleasant, but odd - a fine balance between genius and crazy. Next we were recommended to sample a wide selection of the starters on offer. Typically each was a complex explosion of flavours. Some were sensational. Each was a work of art, but £29 for two scallops is pushing it. In hindsight maybe this approach was too much of an assault on the palette. In comparison my main, Chicken Rezala, was a disappointment after the fireworks beforehand. Chicken, rice and a bit of sauce. The selection of Tandoori breads and some of the sides were excellent. The venue is a spectacle, the service is good, but this is a noisy environment where a lot of tables are crammed in very closely. Happy I went, but delighted I wasn't picking up the bill. Parking: This is central London, get a cab.
