Quilon Restaurant

This restaurant was good, the decor was nice, the food was decent but for the price I was a little disappointed. Staff were fantastic though.

I really loved the food here. The flavours are so rich, and a lot of love has gone into the food. The atmosphere is very romantic with dark lighting, prices are high but I would go again just to taste the flavours and to enjoy this high quality of Indian food. The cocktails are also excellent.

The chicken biriyani is a nice dish to eat. So is the tandoori salmon . I have also enjoyed their naan bread. Given the area the price is fairly understandable. However, I would not order from this place regularly as it is expensive and my order on UberEats took ages.

Lamb Kotthu was divine. Service is spectacular. Lamb shank left much to be desired it lacked a depth of flavour and stronger spice profile. Malabar paratha was too flaky, almost to the point that it couldn't be used to scoop curry before disintegrating--either it wasn't freshly prepared or something else.

I had vegetarian tasting menu - nice food, bit wasn't blown away. Which is fair enough, considering the restaurant prides itself on seafood
