The Chippy, Ventnor provides good quality take-away food for excellent value!

Story

The Chippy is a family run business which has been in operation for just over 6 years. The owners Kim and Peter have lived in Ventnor for over 30 years, and have 3 children, Emma, Helen and Thomas, who also help in running The Chippy.

We try to support local businesses by purchasing all our produce from local suppliers.

The Chippy is a traditional Fish & Chip shop using real Maris Piper potatoes. The potatoes are stored and chipped in the preparation area in the basement of the property.

The fish is delivered daily from Island suppliers, and all the bones are removed prior to cooking. The fish comes in three sizes, and is available as small, large and jumbo.
The Chippy boasts about its special offers such as Two Large Cod and Chips for £10.00

Just recently the Chippy has started offering home deliveries in the Ventnor and Wroxall areas. Delivery is available at a £1 charge, but is free if the order is over £10. This service is available on Friday and Saturday evenings between 5.30 and 7.30pm. The Chippy is open most lunchtime’s and evenings, so please call in to see us, and find out more about our special offers.

Meal deals start at £1.99, with childrens (suitable for the under 5’s) for only 99p!!

Kim makes home made Curry in several flavours @ £4.95 served with rice or chips.

The Chippy has won the customer excellence award for take away fish and chips for the past two years.

The Chippy prides itself on valuing its customers and always endeavours to give everyone a warm welcome and quality service.

Everything is cooked fresh to order so occasionally there may be a slight delay, but we think this is worth it, as it ensures the quality is good and the food is hot!!

The Chippy also offers a loyalty scheme, so regular customers are rewarded with a free meal after 10 purchases. Please ask for your card next time you call.
