As someone from Southend who follows the fish and chip stereotype and worked in a fish and chip shop. This is place is awesome, you can have some water while waiting for delicious fish and chips which blowed my mind😂 along with different types of chips😃. Somethings like the curry sauce taste different from I have back at home but I think that's more personal taste. Modern, stylish and brilliant food makes it the best thing to have for lunch or dinner.😁

The Chip Club is probably the best fish and chip shop I have ever been to. The fish, chips, mushy peas and fish cakes were excellent. The staff were efficient and friendly, and all of the items were freshly cooked. I recommend this established whole heartedly!

** REVIEW IS FOR PREVIOUS SHOP, LUCCA'S ** Genuinely impressed. Batter was particularly good and really crisp, not at all oily. Good chips and generous portions.  Seems they also do gluten free batter, BUT it is fried in the same oil as normal batter so can't be marketed as 100% gluten free. Really very good. And, having canvassed about a dozen neighbours, it seems they've all been there already and all agree.

The best part of the meal was the bottle of Fanta ! Chips was dry and the chicken in my chicken burger I couldn’t even bite into it was to hard
