The worst restaurant experience of my life! Sad. I pride myself on treating waiting staff well and tipping generously. I’ve also been to this chain many many times and always had a good experience. Which is why, on this occasion, I feel I have to highlight an awful experience. Food took an hour and the staff were down-right rude, full of belligerent attitude, uncaring, unapologetic and insulting in the extreme /Disgusting behaviour. Worse still is that the manager was the worst of them. But ‘sad’ because an apology and a smile could have made it all ok. What made it more appalling was that this was my father in law’s treat. He and my mother in law are the most accepting, mild mannered people and even they were disgusted. Please, Pizza Express, fire the man in charge and send a hit-team to re-train everyone, this place is a disgrace. Minded to never give PE my money again.

Been a customer for many years and again recently had another great meal with first class service. The waitress Hajni was polite and very efficient and made us feel very welcome despite being busy. This restaurant and Hajni are a credit to your brand. Well done.

Upon arrival we were ignored,we actually had to prompt conversation as the lady at the front was way too into her screen although we had been standing next to her. She originally gave us a table ,right next to a staircase with no space to move,a view of bins from next door and a slippery surface sign. We Asked for another table,which was slightly more spacious but the walls and floors and chairs were in an absolute state. Our service was poor,almost robotic,we waited 15minutes for our starters and 30 minutes for our mains.no apologies no checks throughout our meal whatsoever. Never going back again.

The food was nice - and the doughballs as usual didn't disappoint! The location is excellent - its very accessible but not too busy. The waitress seemed a bit impatient though. Overall, a nice place to go for dinner with family
