This is a cute little children's museum in London. Imagination of children aged up to 9 is a good indication of this place. I have an 11-year-old daughter who is still able to enjoy exploring for a while even though she a little bigger. The staff is super friendly and the facilities are clean. It has been a busy day, and they don't seem to have enough toys to play with. Adding more new toys and maintaining some stuff would be nice. There is a tiny star show in the room up on the 3rd floor, but it might not be missed if you're with your child. My daughter likes it, but I didn't get to go in with her.
My 19 month old had an absolute blast at the Children's Museum! We have attended the early years program, Halloween events and many more events and have been impressed every time. The staff are incredibly kind. The museum is a little run down pending their move to a new location in the fall but truly the visit is what you make of it! We still had a super fun time, regardless of the state of the building. Appreciate a gem like this in our community and looking forward to visiting the new location!
Very cool place for kids! Love that they provide sensory bags for kids who have sensory issues to help they have their best experience possible. Lots to explore for everyone. Very interactive for kids and their parents. Was very busy. Very little parking, had to park off site and in the community area, kids were throwing the toys all over and at people. Wish there was a little less chaos/more supervision so kids who wanted to play/explore could do so without getting hit with flying objects… otherwise it is a great place
Great little museum! Though I would try to catch it on a “slow” or less busy day when there isn’t a school trip there perhaps calling in advance would prevent this. It was a bit loud for our little one who’s just 5 months old, however he liked all the interactive little sections. We’d definitely come back when it’s a bit older to explore more of their interactive exhibits, which include treehouses and other climbing/cave activities to walk through.
This is our 3rd time in 12 years visiting from windsor. My kids love going and have a blast with every room. Takes us 2hrs minimum to be able to leave. This is by far the most interactive playday we know ofVisited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Use to love going here as a kid. You can definitely tell they're putting more towards the new location then keeping the original location going. Things were changed or missing and alot of things don't work but still good for kids to burn some energy.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Beautiful place to spend the day with ur little ones. There’s separate activity areas. Bring a lunch/snack with u and ur good to go! There’s a small store to buy snacks and ice cream too. I loved the Space ship area the most. It is now being moved to a new location soon.
This is a great children's museum. Wow! Lots of rooms of fun. They also have a clean area to eat your own lunch microwave included. They are moving locations in Fall 2024, but the yellow brick building is super cool! We used our science center membership agreement to get free access..too fun!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Our experience at the London Childrens museum with the daughter and granddaughter was one of wonderment and good clean fun. I mean the place was 'clean'. It's obvious the staff takes great care in cleanliness as we even saw staff in closed off rooms cleaning toys, pads and mats. Very proper. The photos I took explain alot aboot the fun you and your children are going to have at the London Children's Museum. Its changed alot in 20 yrs and is aboot to change again. My photos have an Easter egg. A photo of the future fantastic play place known as 100 Kelloggs Lane, the new location. The Childrens Museum needs five million more to move to the new property after decades of being on Warncliffe Road in London. Now moving to 100 Kelloggs Lane, the old Kelloggs factory. We were there for two hours although it didn't seem that long. It never does when your having tons of fun with the family. We stopped at the tuck shop on the way out to grab some polished rocks in a velvet pouch and a tube of dinosaurs. Awesome fun with pics and souvenirs. It does my heart glad to see the old Kelloggs factory which once wafted the sweet smells of cereal all over London. Now is used to entertain children and bring families closer together. Take a pilgrimage to the LCM before the change over and see the old and then experience the new. Luv Malcom Stay strong London.
My four year old rated the museum 4/5 because more slides would have been better I would agree. It’s a fantastic place for our little people, a combination of fun, history and nature if you consider the trails around. The setting of the museum and the multiple levels keeps things interesting for kids for sure. My favourite section was the looking back in time section, my 2yr old loved the space section and the suspended astronaut and my 4yr old loved the slide All sections are interesting for 2-8yr range I’d say overall. Cons - some of the sections are tired and in need of tlc. Also not much for younger kids like a soft play area. Not many options for food some ice cream and a small gift area that I didn’t explore. Staff at front are young and quite disinterested. They didn’t even ask how old my kids were just told us a total for 4 people admission my youngest could have paid $5.50. There’s options for hosting parties and we could see multiple parties happening during our visit. What a super fun location! I’m out of town but would love to host here one day!
