The canary is the sister salon of the kings canary in fitzovia, the space has been developed to included a vegetarian and vegan coffee shop... and host pop up projects through the year.
The cuisine is relax experimental taking its direction from the design of the space.

I will never have my hair done by anyone other than Gareth. He's an amazing colourist and I trust his judgement completely. He gives great advice and my hair is always healthy and shiny. I tend to follow Gareth where he is working as he is incredible. And after having a very bad bleaching experience at a different salon I was too impatient - bigregret , I returned to Gareth who has begun a hair repair journey for me. He fixed my colour to make it look much more natural and fit tape extensions to help blend in the broken sections as well as applying keratin treatment. I’ve learnt my lesson and will not be going anywhere else again! On top of his incredible skills and conversation, the canary itself is such a welcoming salon. I’m not a huge fan of the sometimes ‘ clinical’ feel of salons, but here feels relaxed and friendly. I love the fact it has a cafe also meaning and endless supply of coffee during your hair appointment!
I’m so sad to do this as I’ve never had to before. Canary have always been great, their ethos is amazing and Traceyann is wonderful. But after receiving a bleach from Steve I had scalp burns and lost a lot of my hair. I’ve attempted to resolve this over the past 6 months but had calls and emails ignored. All I wanted was £120 refunded. I initially had numerous apologies and offers of free treatments but understandably a refund was all that I wanted. Photos after 6 months of regrowth and another treatment from the same salon different stylist who urged me to be unhappy with the initial treatment and was shocked by the damage. I’m so sorry to have to leave a review but I’m bored of shouting into the ether

The Canary Salon is so lovely. Really sweet location with amazing coffee. There is such a nice vibe and everyone who works there is inredibly nice. I've always had my hair coloured by Gareth as he is the BEST. I won't go anywhere else! He always nails the colour and cut and when you leave the salon you feel amazing. He makes you feel super comfortable and is such a laugh. Five stars from me!
I’m very happy with the service I received from the salon! I wanted a drastic hair colour change so had a consultation with Gareth who spoke me through what we would need to do in order to achieve my goal and maintain my hair health. I’m pleased to say the colour is exactly how it was relayed to me in the consultation. I feel so glam and happy with the service I received and will definitely be back for my next colour and cut with Gareth.

Love this place, grata vibe and cool cut. I’ve got fine hair and they always cut it so it bounces like it’s got loads of volume added. Been a. Few times and cut and style always suits really well when Gareth does it. Got a great dip dye. Will defo be back x Hair type: My hair type is fine. And coloured.
