The Cake Shop in the centre of Oxford has been making great tasting and fantastic looking cakes for over 20 years. We also have a shop in the thriving market town of Banbury.

Story

We make a huge range of celebration cakes in all shapes and sizes for Weddings, Birthdays, Christenings, Confirmations, Anniversaries, Graduations, Corporate events as well as Valentine/s Day, Mother's Day, Easter, Father's Day, Halloween and Christmas. We also stock a large range of decorating equipment and sugarcraft supplies.

We've had several custom-made cakes produced by The Cake Shop - for a wedding, for birthdays, for a corporate event - and have always been impressed by their ability to turn our ideas into confectionery! They've always been happy for us to try samples of the cake and cream fillings that they're proposing for a given design and to explain to us what they can and can't do within the limitations of icing (and how they might work around them!). Much of their work is showcased in their window (which seems to have a perpetual throng of tourists) and their website so you get every opportunity to judge for yourself how these imaginative cakesmiths can make your party extra-special.

We've come to the Cake Shop for a last minute birthday cake for our son's 5th birthday celebration. The staff who helped us was very accommodating and helpful. They were able to still make a special and as custom-made as possible given the limited time. It was the best birthday cake we could have wished for and our son was very proud of his cake!

We had a cake made for my Son's Birthday and took along 4 images of a hot rod car from his favourite TV show. The detail on the cake is amazing and made quite an impression on the night with many asking where it was made and photos being taken. Would recommend this shop if you're looking for something a little more unique.

Really happy with service we received for our wedding day. Beautifully made cake with amusingly lifelike figures and all carefully delivered for a small fee. Be under no illusion that they are rather pricey but you get exactly what you pay for. It was one of the talking points of the evening
