"We are a traditional village pub serving great home cooked food all day 7 days per week all day. Every Sunday we serve our full menu alongside our delicious roast dinners! Our gourmet burger menu is a thing of happiness! We have a small outdoor covered and heated patio area. Guest and seasonal ales are on tap with a large choice of lagers and an extensive gin and rum menu! . Located just off the M4 junction 12. Showing Sky and BT sports. Our separate restaurant area is available for a quieter place to dine."

Sensational Sunday lunch I visited this lovely place for a Sunday lunch. There was a wide range of both meat and vegetarian options available. One of the very few pubs locally that have other vegetarian options such as chilli and curry, such a good find. I had the nut roast which was accompanied with potatoes, veg and a side of cauliflower cheese, it was delicious. The staff were very fast, super friendly and the whole place had a nice atmosphere. I will return!
Excellent food, nice service, excellent experience here! We totally recomend! It feels so local!
Food was great and the atmosphere was lovely. Staff are really friendly and polite. 100% recommend.
Loved this perfect stop on our way to Wales. Easy access off the M4 and the best service I've ever had - truly. The ladies who served us were brilliant and the food hit the spot hands down. Definitely check into here again!
8 of us went to this restaurant today. It was absolutely flawless, the staff were very friendly and helpful we had a tall man, who's name I can't remember, the food was delicious and catered to all including the children. The facilities were very clean and there was a very calm and welcoming environment. Highly recommend. We're going to make this our regular meeting place.
It's a lovely place and great burgers!
Still the best pub in village for food, very good quality however mistakes are still sometimes made. I was there for a sunday lunch a couple of days ago. I had Roast Turkey Christmas dinner, it was good though unfortunately marred by carrots that were rock hard and very undercooked. Im a pretty good cook myself so my sugar pea pods were also a bit more crunchy than i like, however this is personal choice. BUT Undercooked carrots are not.
Stopped for a sunday meal. Had the beef sunday roast.. Top class.. good price.. staff were amazing so polite and helpful treated a old local boy as if he lived there.. Great family pub with top staff to match.
The staff were great and the food was very nice. Dog friendly and we were lucky we had the upstairs room for our family party.
Lovely Vegetarian Sunday lunch! Filling and tasty. Washed down with a nice pint. TVs showing the Grand Prix. Only a few parking spaces out back, but we found one on the high street just out front of the pub. There was also a Public carpark a few metres further down the road. We sat in the bar area which was nice, partitioned off from the main bar. A nice pub to head to on a lazy Sunday. The staff were super polite and just lovely, all men on Sunday!
