A bit tired and in need of care. Not very clean or tidy. I'd be afraid to order food here. Loads of lights off and the guy serving drinks kept touching his nose and mouth. Was fairly full of what appeared to be regulars, so may be I'm missing its charm. **Edit in response to owners reply NO FOOD SERVED HERE the Google information, including a menu, implies food

Osman is an absolute top lad. Ozzy is probably the best chef going...love all his specials - definetely a contender to myself. I would give him a Michelin star if I could. Best service as always.
Such a great find! Doesn't look like much on entry, but the chef/waiter is great and the food was superb. Delicious, spicy kebab in large portions. Worked out about £15/pp for plentiful starters and mains. Lovely!
Best pub in town brudda. I will take my children’s children there. They call it the shepherds house but i call it the house where the shepherds lay you know what i mean comrade. I had i burger there and it was so good i think i died and resurrected 5 times. The pint that i had? Was as if it was poured for zeus himself
Staff are lovely, clean and tidy, wonderful covered outdoor seating area for those who smoke or fancy some fresh air and some lovely green space which seems to be being improved and will be perfect for little ones/ families when the warmer weather comes
Absolute gem. We found this place by accident and it was one of the best surprises I’ve had in a few years. The owner Osman was good fun too!
