Story

The Bull at Broughton has long been one of Yorkshire's landmark pubs...famous as much for its hospitality as it is for its beautiful location on the Broughton Hall Estate.

We harvest the finest, freshest seasonal ingredients from the pick of local artisan suppliers, and create a menu inspired by tradition but influenced by contemporary twists. Menus are inspired by Northcote, using only the freshest ingredients harvested by our local food heroes. Enjoy regional Cask Ales and an award winning wine list specially chosen by leading wine expert, Craig Bancroft.

The Bull is full of atmosphere, character and charm, but above all it is a place to relax, with al fresco dining in the summer and crackling log fires in the winter.

Great food and great service. Plenty of parking and a nice atmosphere when you arrive. The menu is spot on. Proper pub food, presented well. Would definitely recommend the Sunday roast!

Love this pub. Staff friendly, food lovely, and they allow dogs in too - bonus! Lots of choice - with a family of veggies, coeliacs and carnivores alike, everyone is catered for. Set in lovely surroundings so ideal for a stroll too. Definitely worth a visit.

Dog friendly pub with great food. Main bar area was quite cosy with a wood burner. Was busy so we had to sit in a dining area that had less atmosphere but staff were friendly and we enjoyed it. The large fish is like a whale!

The staff were very nice and helpful but unfortunately the food was not good.
Bones in the haddock and the steak and ale pie wasn't great either. The chips were over cooked also. 
Very disappointed as we travelled over an hour too get there. 
A discount was offered due too the boney fish. 
On the up side the beer was good the hubby said.

Did we choose the wrong time or wrong night.....?.Below average food, too long between reheating the chips makes them tough and in-edible.  Overall greasy, maybe oil not hot enough for fish or starter, (not an expert) but wife's sausage starter was nice.  Supposed to be a special occasion for us, not good. When asked by the management at the till we gave an honest, balanced response, then we were wished a lovely evening by Aaron, charged the full wack and on our way.  Wife's idea, glad it wasn't mine. Not again
