What a lovely place. Almost on the canal path, fresh tasty food, and good coffee. Service was quick and very pleasant.
Always a welcome with a smile at this lovely, unique hideaway.nThe menus are extensive, from sandwiches hot and cold to the starters, mains, and fabulous desserts.nnA must for any foody.nTry it out. You most certainly won't be disappointed.
Had lovely food, x1 Sunday roast chicken & beef, 1/2 roast chicken and chips.... both with veg and then apple pie and ice cream. Very good home cooked food and decent price. Small place, can eat in or outside.
I was just trying to work out how many years I’ve been going to Abbots Harbpur - probably close to 40 in total. It’s a nice olde worldy place with great “home cooked” food. Generous portions and very friendly service - all of which adds up to why I keep going back!
Stopped in for coffee but was tempted by soup of the day and a bacon and sausage butty. Both were absolutely fabulous: fresh, hot and very tasty. Highly recommended.
