Last min getaway. Hotel well placed for short walk along tow path into Skipton town centre. Or walk along main road if you wish. Few mins either way Staff were great and very helpful. Room we had was vary spacious. Breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold selections. I did enjoy my full cooked one. Would go back no problem.
We have stayed at this hotel, three times with our 2 dogs, in the past year.nThe staff are very friendly, helpful and always want to ensure you have a great stay.nThe breakfasts are lovely, with plenty of choice, and our dogs enjoy their sausages.nWe have also eaten at the restaurant in the evenings, and we have never been disappointed.nThe location is great, and in walking distance of the town centre, we particularly enjoy using the towpath.nWe look forward to returning again next year, and we highly recommend this hotel, if you are visiting the Skipton area.
Room was just a short walk from the hotel in what was once a house. The room was asic but very clean. Nice friendly atmosphere in the hotel. Most of the staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. Food was average and a little expensive. Good range of beers.
Lovely hotel with the jewel in the crown being the restaurant. At 55 years old, I had the best pie I have ever had. Great location, not many decent hotels in this neck if the woods, will definitely use again
This hotel is okay. The girl who greeted us at the reception was very friendly and welcoming, other staff were fairly serious, but did their jobs. Our room was quite dull and dingy, and had some weird design choices. Like, the bedside plug sockets were behind the headboards making them difficult or impossible to access. The sliding door to the bathroom, which makes two more wall sockets unusable, offers very little privacy to anyone using the bathroom as there is a large gap between the door and the door frame. I didn't have a cooked breakfast, but their continental breakfast was nice, I thought.nnThe Internet was decent and there was a large TV in the room.nnI didn't find my pillow to be comfortable, but I have that issue in a lot of places.nnThere is a massive Morrisons opposite which is useful, and the little town centre is only a few minutes walk away.nnAs I said, this hotel is okay. If you're just passing through, or on business, you'll probably be happy enough here. But, if you're looking for something a bit cosy, romantic, interesting, or stylish, maybe look elsewhere.
