What could have been a lovely meal in a lovely surrounding was spoilt by the quality of the meal and the whole rush rush method in which they operate. The menu was inventive and clear .. the food was colourful (artificially) but the quality of take-a-way food .. as is that it wasn't tender but rather stiff and chewy which took away from it .. plenty of sauce but not enough meat. Disappointed .. next time will travel 10 mins further and go to Agraah in Skipton.

Fabulous friendly place. Brilliant staff . Excellent food and service. Come here every week at least. Not to be missed

Main courses very poor quality. Meat very chewy with gristle. Sweet bright coloured sauces for the mains. Me and my husband ordered two separate dishes which seemed to have exactly the same sauce with them. Disappointed given that it’s supposed to have award winning food. I think that the Bollywood cottage needs some local competition to up its game.

Easily one of the finest Indian restaurants we've visited. Great service and an outstanding meal. There's a small carpark not far in the next side street. Now if only it were 150 miles closer to home...
