I had a wonderful stay at The Bristol Hotel. From booking on the phone, to being greeted in reception, service in the bar & restaurant, staff who serviced the rooms.....everyone was first class. All the staff were very professional, efficient & provided five star treatment to me at all times, I was so impressed. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone who I came in to contact with. The rooms were immaculate and of high grade. The hotel was in a great location...walking distance to everything. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and I look forward to returning in the near future.
A friend and I visited for Afternoon tea. The Grill felt luxurious but not pretentious. We could not fault the service, in fact it was exemplary from all members of the team, and we particularly enjoyed chatting with a gentleman who we guess is the hotel or restaurant manager. The afternoon tea was very good and great value, and we were delighted when we were told that the prosecco we had enjoyed was to be complimentary. Would definitely recommend as an afternoon tea venue in Bristol.
We have stayed at numerous hotels in Bristol. This is our favorite. It is in such a perfect location. The service is really excellent. The bar, restaurant and cocktail lounge are all worthy of a visit even if you are not a guest at the hotel. A nice bonus is that you can park in the multistory and get direct access to your room floor. There is a big difference in the room quality. It is well worth it to make sure you are overlooking the canal
Stayed here this weekend and for the most part everything was very good. The location is great and the staff were also very good and they clearly have a lot of attention to detail. The big problem I had was that my room had no air conditioning which was badly needed in the hot weather and not having it was unacceptable given the price. That said I booked through a third party and it looks like much better deals are to be had by booking direct. Overall I'd stay again but its definitely worth double checking what's included in the room.
Fantastic location 15 min walk from the train station.nnDog friendly but you cannot use the bar area or restaurant with your dog. There were a bag of treats, drinking bowl and food bowl ,as well as a big dog bed and two mats. Our dog really felt at home!nnBreakfast is amazing. So many vegan options, such as sausages, hash browns etc.nnStaff are very friendly especially the breakfast staff.nThings to improve on: have complimentary water in the room and ensure the dog bed is fully clean.nnWe had a lovely stay and our dog felt very settled too!
