Stayed one night for a meeting. The hotel is well located and the room was fine. I know colleagues who were staying across the corridor could hear the pub across the road until midnight or so.nThey also reported that there were issues with their rooms but I thought mine was fine.nIt would have been good to have had a non caffeinated tea available as an option for in the room.nIt was a self serve breakfast with a good choice of things to have. My only gripe was there were no plates available for any of the hot food when I went up so had to use a bowl which was not ideal. The coffee was nice from the machine and it was great that there was alternative milk available.
A good value hotel in an excellent location. Despite being alongside a range of chain restaurants and bars the noise wasn't too bad.nnBeing an Ibis I was expecting better from the customer service. We had an extremely rude lady during our checkout who made very little effort to provide good service. A real shame as everyone else had been friendly.nnJonny, one of the cleaning crew, was fantastic and a superb representative for the hotel.nnI'd consider staying again however wouldn't expect to be spoken to in the way we were by the lady mentioned earlier.
This is a decent hotel in an excellent location. It's a reasonable place to stay.nI stayed in two different bedrooms. Both were comfortable, albeit lacking in character. Both had an identical minor fault: the bathroom door was too big for its doorframe, so could not be closed.nThe cooked breakfast was good, though had only scrambled, not fried eggs. The evening restaurant was more of a snackbar, OK if one is hungry.
It was a great location and a great sized room and bathroom. Easy check-in with helpful, welcoming staff. The bed was comfy and air con if you needed it and good double glazing so I could shut the window when it was a little noisy outside.
Had a great one night stop here!nThe staff was super friendly, the hotel has an inviting atmosphere with a busy bar and a little shop. The room was very comfortable and spacious and has everything one needs! The breakfast was super fresh and very well presented! The location is great, right in the buzzing city centre close to all places to visit and to go out! I was travelling alone and felt very safe. Will definitely recommend and return! Thank you so much!
