I had an amazing stay this week w/e 13/09/24, I was expecting the usual great beds and a good night sleep, but what made my week was the 5 service from Sammy, Kate and Lexi, not only were they very professional but as I had received some bad news they were on hand with tissues and a top up of my favourite wine. These Ladies are a credit to Premier Inn Finzels Reach, thank you for making my week bearable and sorry for going through so many napkins. I would ask to stay at this P.I. When staying in Bristol from now on.
ReviewnnWhat could have been a bad experience staying at the Premier Inn Finzels Reach began when I checked in and went to my room. Sadly, an inconsiderate guest in the room above had decided to block their sink and leave the tap running, flooding the place and causing water to pour through the ceiling into my room.nThe two team members at the front desk Kate & Lexie were both really helpful, keen to help, and really well humoured. This was important because the replacement room they gave me also had the same problem as the water began to spread around the building.nOn what was no doubt a busy night at the hotel, it would have been easy for Kate & Lexie to be stressed and short tempered but they were in fact lovely and friendly and everything was done with a smile.nThis review could easily have been a complaint about the water and moving rooms etc but it’s not. And that’s because this place has such wonderful staff.
Classic Premier Inn in a great location. 5 minute walk from shops and restaurants. The room was very clean and big. We had an issue with the AC late in the evening but we very quickly got a key to a new room where they offered to help us move our stuff.nWhile checking out, we also used their luggage storage facility so we could come back later for our suitcases. It was quick and secure.
Hotel was clean and rooms were a good size. Check in was quick and easy. The lift was out of order when I arrived on Friday so did have to carry my suitcase up 2 flights on stairs.
Fire alarm malfunctioned twice meaning all guests had to stand out in the cold for over an hour in our underwear. No staff around to help or explain what was happening. They refused to honour their Good Night's Sleep Guarantee as it was a safety issue even though it was their fault for not maintaining the fire alarms. Disgusted with the whole experience.
