Perfect. I'm a bit sensitive about hotel cleanliness . If you stayed in enough of them you know what I'm talking about :nThis one is always spotless. Not just the most visible surfaces . And it has the feel of a deep cleaned place .nBeds and bedding are lush, very comfortable, great night sleep.nFridges in every room I've been are what I need , same with hairdryer, iron and tea making facilities . This hotel has every basic appliance that I need and they are decent quality . I recently stayed in a presumably good hotel where using their iron was such a hassle it ruined my shirtnTeam in reception is always professional, very polite , swift in everything they do and very helpful. Sorry don't remember their names , I think Renata made an impression, lady with curly hair and a gentleman with coloured hair . Everyone else is also always amazing.nReception is greatly set up, if you ever forget something you can buy it there , it's well displayed from toothbrush to snacks .nIf there is a queue to reception you can chill on the sofas with complementary water.nThere is a nice looking restaurant and a bar area for a night cap. Seriously, all you need for a night stay.nBreakfast I had the first time I thought it wasn't great, the offer and freshness quite poor, so I usually don't have them . Especially for this price, I can pay a few extra pounds and have a really nice breakfast on the way to work in one of the many cafes in the area. That's not to say that it's bad. I had to join a colleague one other time and we came earlier in the day, around 8am, to a fuller and fresher options . However, still, the cheap juice- alike drinks, the small selection . And I mean, the dry potato slices? I'm sorry, people want hash browns Everything in this hotel is good quality but the breakfast is not quite there.nAgain, is decent enough that if you need quick sustenance before work, majority of people will be pleased , I'm sure. To a tourist with some time, I would say you can do better ;
Very good hotel, rooms clean, bright and comfortable. Breakfast was great, good choice and hot items were hot! Staff friendly and helpful and a good bar. Great central location and a handy mini 'shop' next to reception so you can pick up a few basics. Would stay again.
Great stay for one night in Bristol. Staff were friendly and our room was lovely and clean.nnOnly reason this review gets 4 stars is because unfortunately the fridge didn't work. Otherwise would have deserved a 5.
I cannot speak more highly of this hotel to the point I felt really sad when having to leave! The reception is bright, airy and stylishly decorated. The lobby is just so calm and relaxing and I was so happy and comfortable to spend time there even for a bite to eat. All the little touches are fantastic. From free fruit water, board games, comfy sofas and TVs, charging points you can tell they really think about their guests. The staff gave absolutely 5 star service. So incredibly kind and nothing was too much trouble. Storing our bags after checkout and then letting us stay in the lounge until our train time and use the facilities in the meantime. It is a fairly quiet hotel but it was still very nice to be around. The room was clean and had everything you could need with plenty of extras available. I would love to come back.
Just a brief review as I wanted to shout out a staff member for doing everything she could to help me whilst I had some mobility issues when I stayed here . Julie on the front desk was very quick and prompt to serve me as soon as I got the in door. She made everything pleasant and easy whilst checking in friendly and happy to help. I wish more businesses were as friendly and had the same attitude it makes everything so much better .nnThe room was nice and big , very comfy.nnChiller if needed, hair dryer and basic kettle facilities. Very clean. Bed super comfy pillow very comfy and strong not the type that sink after resting on them for a while nnMust say as well everything is very close by train station , town centre and Cabot circus shopping area as well as bars and pubsnnOnly reason for 4 stars on the room is that the toilet is tiny ! And it’s hard to not let water leak everywhere as there isn’t much shower glass
