I heartely recommend Syncopation in Bridewell Theatre. It is brilliant. I really enjoyed the excellent show. Outstanding performance, amazing life music. 150 minutes includes interval. This play is about two individuals coming together looking for that special connection and the feeling that there must be something more to life. ,,Allan Knee's award winning 2 hander play starring Devon-Elise Johnson and Jye Frasca. 1912 New York and ballroom dancing halls are filled with the syncopated beats of ragtime music. Meatpacker Henry is seeking a new dance partner and when seamstress Anna responds to his advertisement, life takes an unexpected turn. Allan Knee’s award winning two-person drama is a fascinating blend of theatre, music and dance. Written by: Allan Knee Presented by: Manilla Street Productions Directed by: Karen Jemison This premiere production features West-End and Broadway performers Devon-Elise Johnson Half a Sixpence, Mamma Mia, Titanic, and Jye Frasca Wicked, Jersey Boys, Mary Poppins, choreography by Strictly Come Dancing’s Jenny Thomas and a live band under the musical direction of Fiz Shapur."
First time to watch a musical show and it was fantastic!! "Saturday Night Fever" was the theme, we were invited by my husband's colleagues, who are part of the actor/actress in the show. I was so astonished by their amazing performance and the singing was so brilliant! Everyone in that show are indeed talented and I can tell their passion from their enthusiastic facial. The venue was simple but very nicely setup. The bar is small and crowded, not the best place to wait for the show imo
A cracking theatre/performing arts space in the city of London. There is also a lovely bar inside with hot and cold drinks and snacks.
What a lovely cozy Theatre in the City of London. Birthplace of talented young performers exploding of energy and positive vibes. Promising stars that will lead us to a better world. #Urinetown
Small theatre. Access and sight-lines slightly odd at times but amazing location.
What a beautiful venue. I went to watch a play called Syncopation well worth looking out for. Great theatre space and a very friendly atmosphere. On the site of an old public bath house and laundry; which is now the bar. Very reasonable prices
Nice theatre. Comfy seats and a friendly bar
The Bridewell theatre is an absolute gem. Hidden near Fleet st. Best of all is that the seats are not numbered so if you arrive on time you can get the front rows and enjoy show like a VIP.
Great place to watch high quality Amateur theatre shows
Good venue for small scale productions. A simple theatre in the heart of London with a modest sized stage and room for around 100 seats. Regularly runs productions from local theatre groups. Friendly staff and a simple basement bar make this a nice evening out with friends. Disabled access is limited due to lots of stairs.
