Lovely atmosphere and all staff competent and very professional. 2 young lady's forgot to ask their names who served us were smiling and made me and my brother welcome. Fantastic experience
Much improved since the renovation inside. Good sized beer garden can watch sport and good selection of funky ales. Not tried the food recently but was good value and quality a while back.
Officially re-opens on Friday 15th March after a pretty major refit. Try the ribs! Had a sneak preview.... Oh and the guest ales are worth a look too.
Never had the food, but it's a good local pub - good atmosphere, reasonable not cheap, but not expensive prices and friendly staff.

Excellent venue,just drinks,yet,the Christmas party in the meal lounge was hosting an Post office party that were looking thoroughly satisfied.How they achieved this delightful experience in a small in is a quite important credit to the evident skill of the background staff.Top marks. I only went for a drink.
