Very nice atmosphere! The new decoration, the food display, the friendly staff etc.. all excellent! We enjoyed the seafood linguine, the fish cake and burger!!! It's a plus as is a promotion time so 50% off for main course!!! The desert of Eton mess with the alcohol was very tasty!! Definitely all of our favourite. The manger Liz make us feel very welcoming!!! After we went yesterday we come back again today!!!!
The food was good, especially the squid small plate. Portions were also good. The staff were all nice, but we did feel a little rushed. I assume as we had an early booking they wanted the table back?? The restaurant was fancy looking and matched the quality of the food. Not super cheap so definitely a treat but we would go back.
Cute locale in a great location, right in the centre of Bristol. The interior is really cozy and well furnished, making a very quaint eating experience. We ate their Festive Christmas menu, and the food was not overtly remarkable. Service however was stellar and so friendly. Wine selection quite good. Not too noisy, prices all right.
Came here on New Year’s Eve! Amazing food, lush surroundings, great staff, Liz looked after us and Anna was exceptional, highly recommend, definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Bristol! 5 Stars!
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We came for Sunday lunch and ordered a three meat dinner and a beef dinner. Food was delicious, although I didn’t received any chicken with my three meat dinner. Not that big of a deal for me, I still enjoyed the food. I’m sure had I brought it to the attention of the waitress, they would’ve resolved the matter immediately. I’d definitely come back again, and likely to do so in the near future! :
This place is amazing, from the moment I walked in they made me feel at home and helped with every need/question. Cocktails = great, food = great, atmosphere = amazing!! I wish I lived in Bristol so I could come here more!! Recommend highly if you visit Bristol/ live here!
Went this evening 08/01/2022, we had the best time. The staff managed to fit us in for a large table of us with only a few hours warning. The location - great. The building - beautiful. Interior - stunning. The drinks were amazing, I Cheekily ordered my favourite cocktail that was not on the menu and the bar staff made it for me. It was amazing, I really enjoyed it and it looked great. The food was fab, the portions were really good sized, the fish and chips was massive and so tasty. The brownie was so rich. The staff were incredibly kind with the dairy allergy at the table and double checked on everything. The staff were really lovely, fun and relaxed people which gave the whole place a lovely feel. The manage or the man I spoke to on the phone was super amazing about a little mix up so shout out to them and our wait staff. We will deffo be going back giving them more notice and bring more family and some friends. Thank you! Also amazing bathroom!
Really nice place, with a really cosy “terrasse” and a beautiful view. Loved the decoration inside. The Bao was great and the meet perfectly cooked. Didn’t try the desert but they’re a complete meal in themselves.
We've been here a few times now & always found the food to be top notch, not to mention the service! Such warm welcoming staff. I had the pork belly with scallops & my gf had sea bass, both of which were incredible. Love the festive Apparetivo's & cocktails too! We've come up from Gloucester today to visit the zoo for the first time in years & see some long distant relatives. A meal here again has been the icing on the cake. Thank you Botanist Team! I had the shrimp appetizer and belly pork & scallop main. The food was amazing and the service was also very nice.Food: 5/5
