I would highly recommend it. Absolutely excellent food, your taste buds will be amazed. The tartar, the sirloin or beef with so complicated and tasty sauces that you will be amazed a chef can produce something like this. The staff are very friendly and eager to help, always smiling and very polite that you fill like in a Michelin restaurant. And the prices for this quality are very much acceptable if not on the low scale. A pity that you can only give 5 out of 5 for this restaurant, I would have given 10 stars without a doubt.
Awesome food, the service crew are lovely... Very friendly and helpful. Definitely will come back when we're in this area again.
Have been to Côte a few times and it’s always a nice experience. Food is always of a really high standard and the location is really lovely
Very good food and great service. A bit expensive. Everything clean and tidy... But you can not bring the sauce for the beef bourguignon in the same plate than the beef! Side portatoes didn't worth the £6. Excellent the creme brulee.
Food and service absolutely excellent. My partners speak was ever so slightly over cooked and they offered to replace it straight away, as it was still so tasty we declined the offer and without another word they took it off the bill! Absolutely delicious and a pleasant experience
Fantastic French food, perfect for a nice lunch followed by a walk on the downs. Lovely staff and interior too
Although not a frequent patron, it's very pleasant to be called by one's first name - especially by an employee, I barely recognise. I never have been very good at remembering people who don't owe me money I have been here before with my blonde boss, a frequent patron who is received most graciously. Perhaps the connection to her was the catalyst. As well as this pleasantry, my stop off for a late impromptu lunch was remarkably agreeable. The French onion soup was very good, but there could have been an improvement with the croutons - a minor matter. The Seabream that followed, however, was superb. Compliments to the chef. All this washed down with a large glass of very acceptable Muscadet. Service was gracious, I complimented Louise W on an excellent presentation of 'l'addition' - An observation on this last item. I really do prefer to leave the 'ServiceCharge' or the tip as I would rather call it, at my own discretion, rather than an arbitrary imposition - however, it does declare that these are indeed emoluments for the staff, which is reassuring. Overall, it was a very pleasant lunch in salubrious surroundings.
We’ve been here for our valentines meal two years in a row now. Last year for the valentines set menu and this year for the a la carte. This year Côte gave us a cosy corner table with a bit more space which felt special - presumably as we mentioned we were there for our valentines meal. As always, service was top notch and very attentive - never seem to be in a rush and always happy to give advice on choices. They served our wine to go with the mains with perfect timing too. We had cocktails to start which were very nice. For mains, we opted for the Côte de boeuf to share which was ‘melt in the mouth’ and just sublime. For dessert I had the winter special raspberry crumble tart and my partner had the cheese board. Both very happy, we had a lovely evening and we’ll certainly be back again soon.
Top quality food, superb service especially "memory man"! And great atmosphere, can't wait to visit again...Food: 5/5
Immediately made welcome and time given for chaotic family to order. Great atmosphere. Good food. All tastes catered for. Friendly service. Big family reunion with much chat but never did we feel rushed to vacate table.Food: 5/5
