Set up well for walkers! Pretty room, but could be a bit cleaner. Lots of cob webs hanging from the ceiling. The upstairs rooms can be like saunas even with the heating off and windows open. Staff were all very friendly, I think the whole village works there! Food was fantastic! 😄

An ideal stop off on a long walk. Great food and beer in an attractive pet friendly environment. The young blonde lady behind the bar who served us, is an asset to the Bolton Arms. She was so friendly and helpful. A lovely person to meet

Excellent pub. Very comfortable rooms albeit on the small side.  We had both dinner & breakfast & couldn't fault either. Pub serves real ales. Excellent base got walking in the sales.
