Recommended to us by a friend so when in the area myself and wife popped in for lunch. We were not disappointed. My wife had the seafood club sandwich and hasn’t stopped talking about it since, “best sandwich ever” she has been telling everyone. I had the burger, couldn’t fault it at all, the chunky chips are to die for. Will certainly be going back in the future and may even stay as the rooms looked fab. Beer and service was also of a high standard. Another reviewer mentions the service charge that was automatically added, it’s a tricky one, personally I don’t have a problem with this, if the service is up to standard (which it was), and if it wasn’t it’s your opportunity to give your feedback while asking them to remove it from the bill.

We traveled over 60 miles to this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and I had a steak which was one of the best I have ever had. Lovely place to stay with themed bed rooms, Whisky Room, James Bond Room, and more. Lots of quirky things about the place. Nice and clean and great service.

Many thanks to the great staff at Wensleydale Heifer! I booked a table to take the wife out for her birthday dinner! It's was first class food & service.

Really good first visit here. For us, it was all about the seafood. Lovely canapes to start us off, and I would recommend the seafood platter
