I didn't know that this was a Joule's one until I entered. I've tried a few from Lichfield to Congleton. On this visit I tried a couple and settled for the Shropshire Hop IPA see photo attached. The Green Monkey is good, too There is a car park at the rear, but can be tricky parking.

Hosted an 80th birthday there recently, it's a lovely place and the owner is fabulous! You know it's a great night when everyone loves the beer AND the food. Very accommodating, nice atmosphere and lovely staff.
Highly recommend. We visited while attending an away football match. Made to feel welcome and the beer was excellent!

Great local pub, serving Joules real ales on draft, very friendly staff and the cooked breakfasts or Sunday lunch deliciously good value. Like the quirkiness of the interior too!
My partner and i visited this lovely little pub this past Thursday 3rd October and we thoroughly enjoyed our time their. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the food was fantastic and generous portions. We Deffinately recommend taking time to visit if and when you are in the area.

First time here popped in for a quick drink and a bite to eat, had the ploughman’s lunch which was fresh and very tasty and only £7:95. Staff are friendly and have a nice outdoor seating
