I highly recommend it! It was our first time there, but we will definitely return on our future visits to Birmingham. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the staff were polite and helpful. Our order was served at the perfect time. The food itself was delicious, fresh, and the portions were just right. Each dish was perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented – you can tell the chef pays great attention to quality and detail. The flavors were well balanced, and the ingredients were clearly of high quality, making the whole dining experience truly exceptional.
The surroundings of this restaurant are absolutely beautiful, with stunning lake views where you can watch people windsurfing. Inside, the decor is elegant, upscale, and spotlessly clean. They offer a great variety of food and drinks, and the taste is quite good as well.nnTheir desserts were a bit of a letdown as well. In particular, the Crème Brûlée was very skimpy and thin, and it didn't taste fresh. As for the cheesecake, it felt like it had been sitting in the freezer for way too long, and the quality was just mediocre.nnHowever, the staff's service attitude could use some improvement. The team seems to consist of more mature staff who might have been working there for a long time; they rarely smile and seem to lack patience. They don't really engage with customers at all, giving off a rather cool and distant vibe. That being said, the restaurant's environment is just too beautiful to resist, so we will definitely visit again!
Great prices, lovely food & drinks, and good service. I ordered the bbq ribs and they where very tender and tasty. We have ice cream for pudding and it was really good quality ice cream accompaniment with a yummy chocolate stick. Really nice presentation, amazing for the price! 2x mains, 2x puddings & 2x cokes only come to £45ish! The location makes it a perfect stop for a meal in the lovely walk to be had at Sutton park in the woods. The waitress’s gave us really good service too! However, I would be extremely cautious of the sharks in the lake.
Everything I wanted and more.nnThe waiter we had was Roscoe, my first thought was, who names their child after a chicken and waffle house.nnRegardless, he was absolutely stellar and went above and beyond in service to make our experience as enjoyable as possible.nnThe food was outstanding as always and ask for a table with a view of the water for that extra pazaz.nn10/10
