I've been here a number of times and always enjoyed it, nice pub. It can get quite busy, which adds to the nice atmosphere, as it seems to be a regular haunt for local crowd. The menu is good, with a decent choice of options including specials and deals. Love the open fire in here, especially during the winter. Only downside to this pub is the toilets, they don't smell very friendly. Also, when quiz night is on (which seems to be on every time I've visited) the monotone voiced host can overpower your conversation as he seems to have the mic volume on maximum. Those points aside, it's a nice pub with good service and nice food.

Large place with a real fire, children allowed. TV above the fire. Tall tables and normal seating. Food excellent. Real ales and a good selection.

Food was delicious. Service was good. Waiting time acceptable. However, many menu items were not available.

A prime location on the outskirts of Sutton Town Centre. A nicely laid out pub with quiet corners. A large well stocked bar. And the most miserable staff possible. When they finally have the gift of sight and spot hordes of customers a baleful, "bin servd mate" clearly illustrates chronic short term memory issues having walked up and down and surveyed who they could disappoint first. Apparently another management resignation suggests a new broom is imminent, no doubt several customers could suggest where it could be inserted.
