Bloody excellent, been staying there for over 20 years, love it. The good is fantastic, the atmosphere is brilliant, the rooms are very comfortable and clean , the whole place is dog friendly ideal for walkers, loads of walks right on the door step. The staff are most welcoming and polite, highly recommended, well worth a visit.

Started off slightly concerned with the attitude from staff as we (group of 7) entered looking for food. It seemed like they were scared to do work, it wasn't a welcoming start! They seemed very against us sitting together and ordering together and when we did there was a muttering of us not listening, but we wanted to eat as a group, not be sat apart and eating at different times! On the flip side though, after the poor greetings, the food was absolutely fantastic. Good quality and large portions. Overall will definitely be going back, just maybe with a smaller group....!

Really nice place to visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food selection is excellent and very well prepared. Good selection of ales. Ample parking. Dog Friendly. Stunning setting. I would recommend booking well in advance as it tends to be very busy.

Quite possibly the best burger I have ever had came from here. The plate was piled with food all of which was amazing. I'd advise booking though. We only just managed to get a table and it's clear why! Parking across the road is ample and spacious. Even the road up from Lynmouth was something else.

Lovely at the end of a long walk. Amazing gluten free fish and chips. Liked it so much we came back the next day!
