The Black Bull is the newest addition to the Illustrious Pub Company.

Story

The Black Bull is the fourth endeavour by Paul & Karen Beer and the whole team at the Illustrious Pub Company. The Bull's sister pub's include The George & Dragon-Elsworth, The Eaton Oak-St. Neots and the Rose- Stapleford. Illustrious also has an Outside Catering Company that is perfect for any event no matter how big or small.

Very nice, if fairly standard, food in the restaurant but breakfast not worth getting up for. OK room but a bit on the small size for a double. Well worth spending the extra £5 per night for the King room. Staff are great, very pleasant & helpful.

This pub is somewhat lacking in something. It has a nice cosy feel to it but there is room for improvement. The food is nice and there is a good selection of dishes. The parking is easily accessible but not obvious at first. They have a function room but it is not used to the full potential. All in all a nice pub but I feel there could be some improvement.

Delicious , well priced food , appreciative welcoming staff, friendly relaxed atmosphere , and hosts who know how to value and satisfy their clients - and all of these attributes make us regular customers.

Lovely pub, really nice food and the ale is served well. staff are friendly and obviously love their work. Well worth a visit
