Here's a polished Google review you could post:nn> First time eating here and it definitely won't be the last! The food was amazing. The homemade chips were cooked perfectly, and the burger tasted like brisket beef – it was so juicy, full of flavour and absolutely delicious. We sat outside in the beer garden, which was a lovely place to enjoy our meal. Great food, great atmosphere, and I'd definitely recommend The Exhibition to anyone looking for somewhere to eat. We'll definitely be back!
Went here for our 38th Wedding Anniversary dinner and was very disappointed, the garlic prawns arrived in a garlic oil with burnt ciabatta and a little undressed salad.nI ordered Peri Peri chicken which was a leg of chicken with just a thick orange sauce and dried up chips and a little bit of salad. The only thing nice I can say is the waitress was lovely and very apologetic.
Great pub, excellent place to get together and have a few drinks with friends. The Exhibition has a great beer and liquor selection as well as soft drinks. They have indoor and outdoor seating, bar seating and restaurant seating. The outdoor seating is a lovely place to sit when the weather is cooperating.
Sunday well spent! nWe enjoyed a truly lovely Sunday lunch at The Exhibition Pub in Godmanchester today. From the warm, welcoming atmosphere to the delicious food, it was the perfect way to spend the afternoon.nnIf you’re looking for a cosy spot with great service and hearty dishes, I’d highly recommend giving it a try.nnNothing beats good company, good food, and a relaxed Sunday vibe.
We were extremely disappointed with the service provided for our family wake. We paid £720 to cater for approximately 60 guests, yet there was clearly not enough food and several people were left without anything to eat. The presentation was poor – pizzas were not properly cut, sandwiches were only halved, and there was no allergen information or food labelling provided. The “crudités and dips” we paid for consisted only of carrot, cucumber and celery sticks with no dips available. There was also only a small bowl of sausage rolls provided, which was quickly gone.nOnce the first round of food had been eaten and guests were still waiting to be fed, we were told more food was coming. However, this only consisted of four additional pizzas, which was clearly not enough for the number of guests attending.nWhat was most upsetting was the response to our concerns afterwards. Rather than acknowledging our experience or showing any understanding given the sensitive nature of the occasion, our complaint was dismissed and justified. A wake should be handled with care, compassion and professionalism, and unfortunately this service fell well below expectations. It added unnecessary stress to an already difficult day for our family.
