Good. Bit small when it gets busy, although plenty of space in the restaurant. Reasonable prices, decent selection behind the bar. Food is good. Fire is lit at winter. Beer garden is nice in the summer. Heated covered area for smokers out the back. Car park around the back as well.

Good looking pub, casual, rustic. Fire glowing, one table blocks warmth for anyone else. Stopped by for lunch on the way to hospital appointment. Wine is fair. Food, 2 salads average, Cajun chicken very dry, not much of it. Smoked Salmon, tasty, but meagre portion. Fish & chips, tartare sauce excellent. Fish was frozen, chips overdone. Not amazing or inspiring really. Staff were friendly & efficient. Parking. Good for groups, will return if in the area, roasts sound good at the weekends. There is live music sometimes.
