Found this small , quaint, olde world hotel by chance & popped in to see the evening menu. There was a small menu sited on a board at the entrance but once inside there was an additional & extensive specials board. We were offered to either sit in the dining room or in the bar. The atmosphere in the hotel was friendly & welcoming , the service was fantastic from the moment we walked through the door. The food really was exceptional with ample portions. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough & will definitely be returning on our next visit.
Food good, staff very friendly Parking: Large car park!!
Was a nice atmosphere, met some lovely people, the waitress was really nice. BUT, took an hour and a half to get food. No updates whatsoever. My mum ordered a soup which she was told was one thing, a different soup eventually arrived and the waitress didn't even know what soul it was. We had no communication about this change or the times etc. The neighboring table waited an hour and a half for food and when they asked the kitchen hadn't even begun cooking. Take this review as you will, but our experience was disappointing.
Nice place not only to stay over night. Bar and restaurant dog welcome. Very friendly staff. Food tasty. Good atmosphere. Highly recommended
The portions are quite big and the food is alright as well. The prices are fair considering the portionsize.
Great place to stay but be warned it can get very rowdy in the evenings on the weekends. Room was generous size, well appointed with great ensuite.
After surviving the crazy waves of Loch Ness, we moored up by the lifeguard centre and walked to this pub. What a great pub! Nice selection of locally brewed drinks
Really nice people and excellent food!
Went for the beer but enjoyed the food very much. Be sure and try the Hanging Tree brews, we were lucky enough to catch the Brewer hard at work out back. Keen guy, very friendly as was the bar staff who assisted us. Little off the beaten path but keeps it shielded from the tour bus itinerary so to Loch Ness.
Very nice and clean and we'll worth the the visit exserlent stafService: 5/5
