Excellent independent bottle shop with very informed staff. Usually get in new stock on a Monday. The shop features an area where growlers can be filled and taken away with fresh draft beer, one of the few places anywhere in Scotland. Fridays and Saturdays are usually busier with full floor service being given. The team usually crack open a couple bottles for sampling. The shop also has a selection of wines and spirits. Gins, vodkas and rum they try to focus on Scottish or British made, with Leith Gin and Dark Matter both being sold here.

A little over six years ago, I popped into The Beerhive on its first day. I moved out of the area shortly afterwards and fortunately find myself nearby again. It's really taken off! They offer a large range of excellent beers, well chilled and competitively priced. I particularly like the guest beer on keg, available to taste, and buy a bottle, if you like. The staff are super friendly and well educated in all things beer related and unlike other bottle shops, spend time and talk you through what's on offer. It's great to see a local business thrive. Highly recommended!

Excellent selection of beers and wines with exceptionally friendly staff. The Beerhive provided the wine for our wedding and our guests were very impressed with the quality of wine. Highly recommend!

Amazing selection of beer and wine with very friendly staff who are always more than accommodating with recommendations. A real gem at this side of the city
