Great Shop,, Excellent wine, staff managed to pick out exactly what I would like by only asking me a few questions. Amazing customer service. The place needs done up ever so slightly but I really like the place.
Can’t really comment on the high end selection as bottles like that are a rare treat. From the more affordable range up to mid £20s, I’ve found it hit and miss with several bottles over the hill. No problems ever with customer service, including returning a bottle that was completely flat and undrinkable despite being assured that it would be fine. I have also had some lovely bottles, but the stale stuff needs weeding.
They sold me corked champagne
Got some amazing half bottles of fine wine. The place has an astounding selection and feels like a hidden gem. It almost feels like people give it bad reviews to keep it for themselves.
Nonexistent customer service from staff, with no small talk or advice on selection. Disappointed as I’ve always wanted to try it but feel uncomfortable returning.
Good selection of fine wines at reasonable prices. Customer service poor. Not at all welcoming, no effort to engage with the customer. They seemed irritated by having a customer in the shop.
Very unfriendly and some whiskies are ridiculously priced. Not worth a visit.
