Particularly in comparison to the Valvona and Crolla located in Elm Row; this establishment displayed some of the most disrespectful standards of hospitality I've personally witnessed. Service was incredibly lazy, with the employee serving our meal, firstly, unable to comprehend what table water was, and secondly when he did understand, he chose to bring a single glass when there were three customers at the table. Meals were dry, flatly flavoured and poorly prepared. The more questionable actions being one; the crisped dry bacon being placed within a toasted dry bread with no condiments, sauce, or anything to form moisture. If you'd like to experience this for yourself, bite into a piece of dry wall and you'll extrapolate the same experience I did. And secondly, the cream which we received for a scone was essentially liquified cream, at which stage when we informed the employee who made it, we were informed that's how it's meant to be served. The restaurant on Elm Row was a magnificent branch of the franchise, but I fear any customers hoping to experience the food of this franchise will be thoroughly discouraged to visit again and spread any figment of positive review. I recommend visiting the Valvona and Crolla located on Elm Row to truly appreciate the best of what this restaurant can offer.

Had a latte here yesterday cost £2.85 each and not even any brown sugar to go with it. Pretty poor if you ask me ! I did ask for brown sugar but they did not have any. Will not be going back even for the great view down onto Princes Street.
