Lovely pub, friendly staff, plenty of space and dog friendly. The food was very nice, but quite 'artisan' - no typical 'pub' food on the menu, which was a little problematic for the kids, as it all sounded too fancy for their tastes! I suspect the pub may have been able to assist had we asked, which we didn't, as the children were all happy with a bowl of chips as a treat!

A really nice restaurant and bar. The staff are always fantastically friendly and helpful and the food is outstanding. One of those places where you could stick a pin in the menu and be served a really great, satisfying meal, everything is top notch. I first heard about it on a radio ad, and popped in one time when we passed. It more than lives up to its advertising. The only downside is the recent removal of the children's play area. I hope it will be replaced, as not having this makes family outings less likely. Make sure you go 😀.

Went for a free dinner as the pub is newly owned and renovated and they were testing out the service. The the restaurant was completely full but we still got served in a reasonable amount of time. Had a steak. It was excellent but not sure if would have it again due to the price £26.50. Good selection of real ales.

I've only been for morning coffee but generally the staff are very friendly the atmosphere is relaxing. My one niggle is with an occasion when the staff had not set up the till before opening up; rather embarassing! Should n't assume everyone will pay with.plastic!
