I've stayed in the Inn for 1 night, and won't be staying again. CONS: - Bed was not comfortable... You can definitely feel the springs. - The heater turned off during the night, on a VERY cold night, making our room freeze. (Radiator from central heating...) - The bathroom is all carpeted, which I find disgusting in general, but even more so on a hotel. - There was a powerful outdoor light from the Inn pointed straight into our window, which had just a thin curtain. - On the way out in the morning the pub was closed and we had no instructions about keys, so had to figure out something. PROS: - Great food. The burgers were very interesting and very good! - Good staff. Waitress was brilliant. - Price

I like the Talbot. Staff are friendly and offer biscuits to my dog. The setting is close to the Thames path with a pleasant waterside outside seating area.

The staf were friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty, well presented and of good portion size however - £3.50 for a pint of lemonade, and an extra £1 for an abysmal dash of blackcurrent. £4.50 for a non alcoholic pint is appalling. In fact it's enough to turn you to drink!

Went here for a work lunch. All was good apart my forgetting my order. New menu is slightly more limited than their extensive menu before
