We had a perfect stay here at the Beach Motel and cannot speak highly enough about the customer service. I emailed a few days prior to say that we would likely be very late arriving and they explained they would love a key out. We ended up arriving at almost 1am and a lovely note explained that our key was in our room. The room was spotless, cosy and quiet and perfect for a night's stay as we broke up our journey. 10 mins to the ferry port and dog friendly. Thank you to the team for their help!
Lovely place. Dog friendly. Clean and comfortable room. Friendly staffnLovely food. Top breakfasts. Super location.
We stayed one night. Arrived at 9am, let us park up. Walked on the costal path, returning at 4. The location is amazing, 3 minute walk to the beach and the costal path. Rooms are large, comfy bed, bath fills up in 5 minutes, very good water pressure. Baths has jets in it so nice to have a soak after walking all day. The adjoining pub does food, it was packed so assuming it's good. Think they did two meals and a bottle of wine for £20, we had chippy tea from the town, 5 minute walk. Tea and coffee provided. I wear ear plugs every night, so I slept through but it is noisy, if you go to bed early like us. Your next to a pub. Bring ear plugs or go to the pub yourself. Great base to explore the area.
Staff are very friendly, the outside looks weird but the rooms are spacious and clean,2 minute walk to the beach
We went here a month ago for a regular pub meal, and it was good! The food was brilliant and so we thought we’d give their Sunday Carvery a go, but my word how awful of an experience it was. The place was packed with men watching football, and being extremely loud. They even had the football playing loudly in the restaurant area where families were trying to eat their food. The food was bland, the mash had no flavour, they had only 2 options of veg to have on your plate - cabbage and carrots. The meat was terrible! I had to return my beef as it was pink and bloody, tried the Turkey and even that was terrible. We ended up paying for just half of our food - including the drinks. Won’t be returning to this place.
