Never judge a book by its cover! Arriving here we may have been a little doubtful as to the choice of accomodation, but from our welcome at reception through to our comfortable night's sleep, we couldn't have been happier. We enjoyed a delicious, steaming hot meal at The Driftwood - we all loved our meals! Our rooms were clean and comfortable, with all you could need for your stay! Excellent!
Stayed over for two nights.nBedsheets were clean, got great water temperature and pressure.nThe room was nice and warm with really good heaters.nThe floor in the rooms wasn't't as clean and definitely needed hoovering upon our arrival.nThe pub customers were very loud every night and we could hear them all the way up to 23.30-00.00.nThey were friendly for customer service and got our keys nice and quick. they said anything you need please let us know which was nice of them but I'm still waiting for a teabag...
Staff could not have been nicer. Room clean and spacious. Dinner was really good. Breakfast a bit ordinary, £10 for toast and basic coffee. Noisy with metal staircase outside room and children's soccer team running amok till nearly midnight.
Nice carvery with plenty of choice. Be aware the carvery is only between midday and 2.30pm
Excellent eatery right on the beach. Good menu choice. Was very busy even in March.nThe food was delicious.
