Great place to visit. Many aircraft taking off and touching down with many special aircraft highly recommend climbing the sand dunes to get the best view of the beach. BE WARNED IF YOU DO NOT LIKE NOISE THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU.
Lovely training bases, great sights all around to watch them take off and land by the hawks and texans and be lucky enough to get a few rare aircraft coming in to do sim training, practice diversion or touch and goes
Based on the west coast of Anglesey this Royal Air Force base provides a fantastic opportunity to get to see some of today’s military aircraft at close quarters. There are several viewing areas, the sand banks from Rhosneigr are a 10 minute walk and provide an excellent observation point
Awesome place to see military aircraft from different points around the runway. I saw HAWKs, F16’s and a couple of Red Arrows!

Pack a pic nic too Holyhead in so beautiful Bring the whole family and watch these fantastic planes They fly right around Holyhead its just so amazing to see. The feeling is out of this world. Fantastic place for children to experience this
I live on Anglesey and if you want low flying fast jets say no more Valley Airbase home of the Jupiter helicopter, Hawk T2 and T-6 Texan II has that there are 2 brilliant spots to visit to watch aircraft on approach Runway 13 around the back of the base and Runway 19 where the fence is depending on wind direction. In my Oli it is a must visit on Anglesey and it’s a sight to see especially when the Red arrows attend/visit
Great place to visit if you’re interested in military aviation!!
One of the best annual camps. Shame flying got cancelled due to weather. I’m not going to say a thing else, because if your coming I don’t want to spoil it for you! Enjoy!
