The Bay Horse Inn

While the food is generally excellent or better, there's a lack of attention to detail where beer is concerned. Of the few glasses of beer I have ever returned, almost all of them were served here. And that's a great pity because it's a nice place to meet people. That said, I still go there regularly. I sometimes wonder when, not if, the attached barn will collapse. My bet is the second winter gale of 2018. Worth the visit to guess for yourself. A little more 'energy' would repay the effort..... Turn it into a top place.

On the whole this is fantastic top quality food. More hit than miss. However on occasion it has let me down and not been the top quality I had expected. The price of the menu demands that it should be top notch every visit. For that reason i can’t give it 5 stars although when it’s good it would deserve it.

Quality service, friendly staff and above all great quality food well prepared in a a lovely setting. Yes it's pricey but in my view, well worth it. Before anyone asks the chicken in the picture should have been steak but my wife swapped it!

Haven't been there for years but food and service were really good ,could not fault a thing . pleasant dining room wine selection very good all in all a nice experience.😊

We love it here. It's the best place for miles around for good food or just a relaxing drink.
