We were a tour group of about 18 people and I think everyone truly enjoyed their dinner here. My meal was an absolutely delicious bowl of local mussels as an appetizer and a most appealing looking and tasting ratatouille tart and potatoes for entree . This local pub has the friendliest owner and such a fun young staff.
Lovely warm atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff. The food available was exceptionally well prepared and presented. Nice choices that are not "run-of-the-mill" so you feel you have to come back and try something else you maybe also fancied, the next time!. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
Discovered this place on Sunday . Fantastic food and a great location . My wife loves a Sunday Roast and there were three choices , beef , pork and for vegetarians a nut roast. All freshly cooked and well presented. I think that this is one of the hidden gems for food , and drink in Argyll. Definitely be back.
The best beef steak I ever had!! Fantastic spot with great ambient and very nice service. Good choice of food and even better quality. I couldn’t be more satisfied. It definitely worths the drive up there

Visited here for lunch today whilst staying with our lovely friends who live locally. Between us we had soup , muscles , steaks , lasagna , biscoff cheesecake and marmalade tart and drinks . Each course was delicious and well presented. Portion size was generous. The biscoff cheesecake was perfection! Prices are good. Lovely friendly service and warm and cozy with log fire which was topped up several times. Will definitely be back. Thank you for a delicious lunch in a lovely atmosphere. Vegetarian options: Some on menu for all courses. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and swing park. Parking: Parking right next to building. Wheelchair accessibility: Perfect access
Staying at near by Lodges we visited here by recommendation. Was not disappointed. Friendly staff and well organised given current circumstances. Booking in advance is recommended as I believe they were full the night before as well as Sat night on our attendance. Food was delicious kids enjoyed the burgers and pizza. The cajun chicken was excellent, portions were big. Dessert was also spot on.
Fabulous find. Just 2 miles south of Oban. We treated ourselves to a 3 course lunch and it was fabulous. We chose the main menu but cheaper options are available. Freshly prepared food, beautifully presented by friendly staff. Even a wee play park for the children. Parking: Plenty parking.
