A sweet restaurant in Oban with great value ratio. The food was with quality and for lunch set, the price was unbeatable. The chowder was creamy and well seasoned, thick and rich. The mussels themselves are fresh and well cooked. The shrimps were a tiny bit over fried though.nnServers were nice and helpful. Only thing is there was a bell at the kitchen reminding readiness at kitchen which was a bit annoying when sitting closed to it. Alfresco seems very nice too just over looking at the water front.
Despite the description this place DOES NOT HAVE ITS OWN CRAFT BREWERY. You cannot make reservations. The food was good and the service good. We went because of the description but the staff said they have no control over Google Map’s description. Also because of the brisket but it wasn’t as great as we hoped but it was good. We shared a platter between two of us and I’m glad we did as it would’ve been too much for me.
Tastefully decorated.nGood, attentive service - quick.nVaried menu - kids menu as well.nMany drink options.nFood is excellent.nSteak pie delicious. Kids pasta was enjoyed. Seafood platter with fries - amazing.nMust eat here if in Oban.
Nice lunch, not too busy but not quiet either. Fast service. Food was tasty and muscles were fresh. Could have done with another bowl for shells and a finger bowl or wipes for hands but not a massive problem. Quite reasonably priced too
Got in at lunchtime and had a lovely table for two at the window. Staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. The meal was delicious and reasonably priced. A lovely birthday treat. Thank you Cuan Mor.
